The historic Marathon Motor Works building brought the age of automobiles to the South. Until 1990 it stood as the sole auto manufacturer in the area, and a landmark of Tennessee history. Barry Walker saw the soon-to-be abandoned building and knew its history was long from over.
While the building was being restored, Barry brought life back to the third floor. Throwing parties with his friends around Nashville, Marathon Motor Works was back on the map.
As the parties grew, so did interest in booking the space. The Nashville community saw the vision that Barry created and turned a “Room with a View” into a beloved venue for weddings, parties, photoshoots, and more!
